Dallas native Mia Humphreys is the heart behind MIA•RITA. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Dance Performance from the prestigious Meadows School of the Arts. Mia’s passion for the arts took her to New York City, where she spent summers training with the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Joffrey Ballet. She even made a detour to the West Coast, where she joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2003 and enjoyed a vibrant year in the entertainment world.

In 2008, life brought Mia to the breathtaking Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida. It was on those sugar-white sands that she and her friend Holly longed for the crisp, clean taste of a classic TEX-MEX margarita—free from artificial flavors and additives. When they couldn’t find it on the shelf, they decided to create it. And so, MIA•RITA was born.

Beyond the business, Mia is a proud mom to three energetic kids and wife to her biggest supporter, David. She’s an active member of her beach community, giving back through volunteer work and serving on several nonprofit boards. Mia believes in celebrating life’s joyful moments, big and small, and always striving to be your best.

At the end of a long day, her favorite ritual? Pouring her own
refreshing, custom all-natural MIA•RITA - and toasting to the good life!
